PDF too big to e-mail: how to get it under 10 MB
With Fit a mail's size limit, choose the limit (often 10 or 25 MB) and the PDF is made to fit it.
When compressing is not enough, it is split by pages so every part fits (the names get _1of2 and so on).
It all happens inside this browser: the file is never uploaded to a server.
Your file is never uploaded to a server: the tool works in this browser.
How it goes
- 1Drop or choose the PDF that was refused
- 2Choose the mail's limit (leave 10 MB if unsure)
- 3Run, save what fits and attach it (one part per e-mail, in order, if it was split)
Good to know
- To choose the quality yourself, Compress a PDF is there too.
- When it is split, the person opens 1of2 then 2of2.
- A PDF full of photos may lose some photo quality to fit.
Other problems
- Make a PDF smaller without uploading it
- Merge PDFs into one without uploading them
- Split a PDF into separate files
