AI Mask · Hide it, ask, put it back, finish
Mask meeting notes, then have an AI summarise them
Meeting notes are full of client and colleague names, amounts and contacts. Mask them, have the AI summarise, then put the names back for your team.
Steps
- Paste the notes into AI Mask and press Mask.
- Check the coloured parts. If a company or person was missed, add it under "Add a word to mask" (masked from then on).
- Copy the masked text, paste it into the AI and ask as below.
- Paste the answer in step 3 and press Put back. The placeholders become names again.
- Look at the numbers and names under Please check, then finish with Make a Word file or Copy as email text.
How to ask the AI (example)
Summarise these notes as: decisions, actions (who and by when), next agenda. Keep the 【】 placeholders exactly as they are.
Finishing
A Word file with headings and bullets; or email text with no placeholders, ready to send.
Good to know
With amounts set to Round, the AI only learns their size. A rounded amount stays rounded when put back.
- Masking and the key stay on this PC. What reaches the outside AI is only what you copy or attach.
- Something may be missed. Check the coloured parts before you send.
- Company and people's names are masked from your list (with “Find more names of people and companies”, names not in it are added as suggestions). Phones, emails, addresses and ID numbers are found by their shape.
