A CSV opens garbled in Excel: fix it
Gibberish means the text encoding does not match. Drop the CSV: its encoding is found and it is saved so that Excel opens it right.
UTF-8, Shift_JIS, EUC-JP and UTF-16 are told apart.
It is fixed inside this browser; the file is never uploaded to a server.
Your file is never uploaded to a server: the tool works in this browser.
How it goes

- 2Check the table that was read, and pick how to save (for Excel, UTF-8, Shift_JIS)
- 3Save, then open it in Excel
Good to know

- Free: up to 50,000 rows, one file at a time.
