Orihako PDF

Name invoice PDFs from their contents, and turn them into a ledger

Drop your invoice or receipt PDFs: the date, issuer and amount are read from their text and become the file name (date_issuer_amount), with a CSV list of the same values. The files are never uploaded to a server.

That list can be handed straight on to Orihako Data, to tidy it as a table or match it against the bank's CSV: one flow, saved inside this browser.

The reading is a guess: check the table and correct what is wrong; the names change as you type.

With my own fileTry a sample

Your file is never uploaded to a server: the tool works in this browser.

How it goes

  1. 1Drop your invoice or receipt PDFs together (or try a sample)
  2. 2Check and correct the table, then save the renamed files with the CSV list
  3. 3Hand the list on to the next tool (Data) to tidy it or match it with payments

Good to know

  • Date, issuer and amount are guessed from the document's text and can be wrong or missing; highlighted cells need a closer look. A missing value can be typed in.
  • Scanned invoices are read with text recognition on this device first; handwriting and faint print may not be read.
  • The PDFs themselves do not change; only their names do.
